Education Requirements

REALTORS® and Appraisers required to complete Code of Ethics training for third cycle

REALTOR® members who last took the NAR Code of Ethics between Jan. 1, 2005 and Dec. 31, 2008 are required to take this course again between Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2012. Failure to complete this training will result in suspension of your Board membership, and suspension of your access to NNEREN's MLS. Appraisers are also required to complete the REALTOR® Code of Ethics (the Appraiser Code of Ethics training does not meet the requirements of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics training) More

New Real Estate Agents

New agents must complete the online Code of Ethics and new member orientation in order to become a full REALTOR®. Code of Ethics classes are offered online by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). For instructions on how to take the online course, please click here.
