Realtor® Safety Course (3CE)

Celebrate Realtor® Safety Month! NVBR will present a Realtor® Safety class to help members get the tools and information they need to stay safe!

Developed in partnership with NAR’s REALTOR® Safety program, this three-hour course is an essential primer on how real estate professionals can limit risk to preserve safety—their safety, their clients’ safety—and for positive business outcomes. Attendees will learn how to assess risk in their current practice and create safety systems, scripts, and tools for listing appointments, showing property, and conducting open houses. Attendees will also learn how to protect personal and electronic information online, in the cloud, and on social networks. As a practical resource, this course offers easy-to-remember strategies for real estate professionals when facing potentially dangerous situations.

Kristin Chandler, J.D. is a graduate of Colgate University and Seattle University School of Law. Kristin has been an instructor for Vermont Association of Realtors since 2014. She teaches the 40 hour pre-licensing class, the 4 hour mandatory class and a 3 hour safety class. Kristin is the Coordinator of Team Two, a one day training for law enforcement, police dispatchers and mental health crisis clinicians that fosters a collaborative response to mental health crises. Kristin also teaches Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Evidence as an adjunct professor at Norwich University.

This session is being offered via Zoom. Registrants will receive their Zoom link 24 hours prior to the class. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Berk at mike@nvbr.com or (802) 862-6407.
