The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. REALTOR® is a professional association. It is not a license type.
- You must be a licensed real estate agent to join NVBR. For information about licensing, contact the Vermont Real Estate Commission at (802) 828-3228, or visit their website here.
- You must join a local Board of REALTORS® to become a member of the state and national REALTOR® Associations
- Brokers, agents and appraisers are eligible for REALTOR® membership.
NVBR offers education programs and networking opportunities to help them in their business. Members have the opportunity to serve on our committees and attend various educational and social events.
We have several classes of membership, primarily REALTOR® membership, which serves real estate licensees Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. Our affiliate membership serves those individuals and companies who provide REALTOR® members with products and services that help them provide a superior quality of service to their customers and clients.
