June REALTOR® Meeting
Buyer Broker Agreements & Agency Disclosure
The concept of agency is hardly new and has long governed relationships with sellers and buyers. As an agent it is important that you carefully and effectively explain your working relationships with prospective sellers and buyers. The agency relationship establishes the legal framework of duties and responsibilities among brokers, salespeople, and consumers.
Attorney Tom Heilmann will give an overview of Agency Disclosure and Buyer Broker Agreements. His presentation will highlight how you can help customers understand agency disclosure and buyer broker agreements, how you can best represent your clients, and how you can avoid some of the pitfalls that can occur when one misunderstands these important real estate agreements.
