Jen’s passion for real estate safety ignited after experiencing the loss of a dear friend, Ashley Okland, who was killed while holding an open house on April 8, 2011 in West Des Moines, Iowa. Years after this tragedy, Jen has tried to develop a purpose in the absence of explanation. This has fueled her desire to bring awareness to real estate safety and to encourage the safety conversation to be one which is repeated and remembered.
