Uploading Listing Attachments

InnoVia's MLS system offers a convenient tool to help ease the homebuying process. InnoVia's attachment feature allows REALTORS® to upload important documents, such as tax bills, warranty deeds and floor plans.

The PDF upload utility allows you to upload PDF files directly from InnoVia, and attach them to listings in InnoVia.

PDF documents can be uploaded from 2 places:

1. From the My Inventory or Firm Inventory section on the home page:

Pull up the listings by clicking on the numbered links. Then click the PDF Upload  button out to the right of the listing.

--OR--

2. Go to Miscellaneous and PDF Upload Utility from the InnoVia Menu Bar.

From the search screen, search for the listings for which you have attachments to upload. You can either enter the MLS number, or you can search by the other criteria available. SIDE NOTE – this is a secure area of the system, which means you will only have the ability to upload attachments for listings that are in your own inventory. Once the search criteria has been entered, click “Search”. When the “Matches Found” button appears, click “Printer Friendly”, and your listing will appear in a one line format. Confirm that this is the correct listing by clicking the MLS number.

From either option above, the PDF Upload screen will appear. The appearance of this screen, and the options available may differ from Board to Board, but generally, there will be from 2-4 types of documents that users can attach to listings.
To begin the process, click the “Browse” button beside the type of form you wish to upload.

Clicking on the “Browse” button launches your Windows Explorer feature. This allows you to locate the saved PDF files on your computer. Once you find the file that you wish to attach to the listing, double click it, or highlight it and click the “Open” button at the bottom of the Explorer window.

After selecting the file for upload, the PDF upload screen will appear again. The “path” to the file you selected will appear in the blank beside the “Browse” button.

Follow the same procedure for any additional documents you wish to attach to the listing. When the files have been selected, click the “Upload” button at the bottom to complete the process. A pop up box will appear which will let you know if the upload was successful, or if the file was too large, or was not a PDF file. Be patient after clicking the “Upload” button. Uploading files of this size may take a few minutes, especially if you are using a dial-up connection.

Viewing and Deleting Attachments
Once files have been attached to your listing, you will be provided links to View or Delete the attachments directly from the upload screen.
