In response to a myriad of change in our industry, and NVBR in particular, the NVBR Board of Directors recently approved an updated Strategic Plan to proactively address some of our probable challenges over the next 12-18 months. As a result, a variety of project based work groups are being appointed, and we are reaching out to you to help us bring about this positive transition.
Incoming NVBR President, Shannon Marcelino reports, “There are four strategic focus areas that have been identified in the plan, under which various volunteer opportunities exist or are being developed that could desperately use your talent with a minimal time commitment”.
- Governance/Operations: It is anticipated that several work groups will be established to analyze the organizational and staff structure, headquarters facility, and fiscal stability.
- Communications: The intent is to build a comprehensive internal and external communication plan to clearly articulate the relevance and value of the organization’s products, programs, services and the Realtor® brand to both members and the general public at large.
- Member Engagement: A wide variety of forums are being designed to foster strong business relationships and professional growth potential for NVBR members.
- Political and/or Community Outreach: The strength of our united voice will carry the day in terms of legislative advocacy to promote and protect private property rights, as well as fuel the various philanthropic activities in our community.
It takes a village
